Overview

The Women's Risk/Needs Assessment (WRNA) Training for Trainers Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) prepares certified WRNA end-users to become approved trainers within their agencies. This training fulfills the requirements for trainer certification and is intended only for participants who have already completed WRNA End-User Certification and have completed at least 10 assessments with clients.

This training includes blended learning components totaling approximately 40 training hours.

Blended Learning Format

This program combines self-paced learning with live instructor-led sessions, allowing participants to develop the knowledge and skills needed to train others in WRNA administration, scoring, and implementation.

Self-Paced Pre-Work (Online Classroom)

Participants complete approximately 5 hours of self-paced learning prior to the live training. Pre-work activities introduce key trainer concepts, review WRNA content, and prepare participants for the live instructor-led sessions.

Live Virtual Training

Participants attend five live virtual training sessions led by WRNA master trainers. During these sessions, participants practice training delivery techniques, review WRNA content and scoring, discuss implementation strategies, and develop skills for facilitating WRNA training within their agencies.

Intersession work‍

Following each live training session, participants complete approximately 2 hours of independent learning activities and assignments. These activities reinforce the day's content and prepare participants for the next live session.

Participants should plan to keep their schedules clear during the live training week, as each day includes both live instruction and required independent work.
